DIY toner 2: White Vinegar and Water
White vinegar is particularly good for sensitive skin or skin that is prone to irritation and rashes. To use white vinegar as a skin toner, mix equal parts vinegar and water and then apply it after you have cleansed your face. It will reduce excess oils in the skin, fight infections and it will help prevent acne.
DIY toner 3: Mint
Mint is a natural astringent, so it makes a very good toner for oily skin. It also cleans out the pores of the skin and shrinks them, which make the skin look smoother and help stop the pores becoming blocked, which can lead to breakouts. To make a mint skin tone, boil 2 handfuls of fresh mint leaves in water and then strain it and add ½ a teaspoon of alum.
