2. Don’t wash your hair too frequently
Washing your hair too often will also cause split ends. How often you wash your hair will depend on how greasy it gets and that will vary from person to person, but most people do not need to shampoo their hair every day. Try extending the gap between shampoos and see how you feel. Some people can go as much as five days between shampoos without their hair looking greasy.
3. Always condition your hair
Every time you shampoo your hair, use conditioner or nourishing mask on the ends. Dried out hair becomes brittle and that then causes split ends. Always apply conditioner to the ends of your hair to replace some of the moisture that you just washed out.
