DIY hair recipes are the healthiest options for making my hair shine. Since I have naturally curly hair, I had to deal with my hair being a pile of frizz because of my ignorance about hair care. When I finally could not take it anymore, I began experimenting with hair products from manufacturers. After not getting the results that I wanted, I began search the web for hair recipes. The recipes that I liked the most were made of ingredients that I could easily find in my kitchen pantry.

These recipes are inexpensive and they do not have any harmful chemicals that are commonly found in salon and drugstore hair products. These are a few of my favorites:

1. Repair Your Hair

This is one of the best recipes is mixture that is designed to repair damaged hair. These three simple ingredients will make your hair look healthy and shiny. The ingredients are inexpensive and easy to find. Give it a try:

Ingredients:

1 Tbsp Olive Oil

2 Tbsp Honey

1 Tbsp Apple Cider Vinegar

Directions:

Mix the ingredients and coat unwashed hair.

Leave it on the hair for a full hour or half an hour.

Rinse, and then clean the hair with your regular hair products.
