5 Ways to Wash Your Face

Cleansing your face the right way means that you keep your skin looking good and feeling young. There is a right and wrong way to wash your face. Although the process of washing it seems simple, it needs to be clean without damaging it at the same time.

1. Wash Preparation

Washing your hands before your face is important because you need to get the bacteria off of them first. Wash your hands for at least 30 seconds before you wash your face.

2. Washing

You can start the process by splashing warm water onto your face to open up the pores before you start. You should not use a quantity of cleanser more than a nickel size. Apply this to your palm before you move your hands in circular motions across your face. For 45 to 75 seconds, the facial wash should be massaged into your skin. You can use a washcloth that is made up off natural fibers which will help you if you have naturally sensitive skin.

3. Rinse and Dry

If you do use cold water on your face, make sure that it isn’t too cold so that it doesn’t shock your face skin. Make sure that there isn’t any residue on your face and don’t forget about washing near your jaw line and your hair line. Gently pat your face, using a very soft towel, and you should not rub your face. If your skin is prone to acne and you need to put topical medication on it then wait. It should be applied 16 minutes later you have washed your face to avoid redness or irritation.….READ MORE ON THE NEXT PAGE
