1. Yogurt With Fresh Fruit

You can make a fruit salad with yogurt. Just combine three cups of your favorite fruits, a third cup of honey, a cup of plain yogurt and a few drops of lemon juice for a tangy flavor. The yogurt parfait can even be made by adding the berry and yogurt blend into a whole grain cereal, making it one of the useful snack ideas for the summer.
2. Grilled Vegetables and Onion Dip
Raw vegetables taste good with onion dip but they taste even better grilled. Some of the best vegetables to grill include eggplant, zucchini, green peppers, carrots and yellow squash. Once you grill the vegetables, drizzle honey on them and sprinkle salt and black pepper on them. You can easily make your own vegetable dip with ranch seasoning and Green yogurt, or get yourself treated to some hummus dip, guacamole.
3. Homemade Trail Mix
This is an especially healthy snack for children and it is a snack they can make by themselves.In a medium sized bowl combine almond slices, raisins, semisweet chocolate chips, dried figs, banana chips, pretzel pieces and apple chips. Combine the ingredients and place in a small Ziploc bag to give to the kids.
