You can experience a lot of sleepless nights if you have a flabby midsection. Body image is an important thing, and anybody wants to look fit and healthy, though it doesn’t mean you should always live starving yourself. There are special foods which you can eat to help you in burning your stomach fat. These are some of them:
1. Change The Oils You Cook With
Instead of cooking with the usual vegetable oil that hinders your ability to lose tummy fat, you should start cooking with healthier oils such as flaxseed oil, olive oil, peanut oil, canola oil and sunflower oil. These oils have less fat in them and they can be used to make sauces, as flavoring for meats and fish and as an ingredient in homemade salad dressings. Speaking of oils, you should cut back on fried foods as they cause an increase in belly fat as well as diabetes and heart disease risks later in life.
2. Hydrate and Clean Your Insides With Water
You should drink six to eight glasses of water a day because as you do this, you are flushing out all of the toxins in your body that contribute to the stubborn belly fat and your body is hydrated as you drink more water. If you like sweetness in your water, add a few teaspoons each of honey and lemon juice.
3. Take Charge of Belly Fat With Proteins
It is important that you consume a healthy amount of proteins each day because proteins will suppress your appetite and this makes you feel full longer during the day without needing to snack on the wrong foods. Lean meats such as chicken, turkey and lean beef are excellent sources of protein and other good sources of protein include eggs, nuts and certain vegetables such as leafy greens.
4. Fruits and Vegetables
If you are going to decrease belly fat, you must eat fruits and vegetables daily because these foods contain vitamins and minerals necessary for good health. To get the maximum nutritious value out of fruits and vegetables, you want to eat them raw but make sure you rinse them off first. Another idea is to make vegetable or fruit smoothies with them. You can also prepare salads with the fruits and vegetables and add nuts to the salads.….READ MORE ON THE NEXT PAGE
