Acne is no fun and treating acne is no fun, unless you use homemade treatments. Many prescription acne treatments are made from harsh chemicals that can cause damage to your skin. 1. Apple Cider Vinegar

It might smell a bit funky, but apple cider vinegar is a wonderful choice for acne treatment. The all-natural and unprocessed elements make it effective and gentle. All you need to do is use a solution of three parts water with one part apple cider vinegar; dip a cotton ball in the mixture and treat the areas that need it.

 2. Baking Soda

Baking soda does two jobs for acne-prone skin. First the face that it is high in alkalinity allows the product to kill bacteria on the skin. Second, it works as an exfoliator, removing dead skin that causes bacteria to build up on the skin and cause acne. Using a little bowl, mix baking soda and water into a paste and massage it on your wet face for 60 seconds. Use cold water to rinse.

3. Castor Oil

Castor oil has a bad reputation as a bad tasting medicine, but it works well as an acne cleanser. Since oil is best at removing oil, oils like castor oil will help remove oil and dirt that become bacteria and then acne.

4. Honey
