Okay, so you’re not looking to lose a great deal of weight, but you do want to get rid of that extra ten stubborn pounds. Sometimes after we’ve been working out and dieting, we hit a plateau and it’s a lot harder to lose the rest of the weight. Here are some tips to help you either get over that plateau or to lose that extra 10 pounds.
1. Define And Write Your Goal Down
It may seem silly, but it actually works. Write down your goal on a piece of paper and put it under your pillow, so that when you are sleeping, you are ‘sleeping on your goal’. Each morning when you read it, it will remind you of your goal and give you inspiration.

You could also put a note on the refrigerator or some other strategic place where you will see it every morning to get you starting out your day on the right track.
2. Devise And Keep To A Plan
You may have done this before with a diet and exercise program, but it is one of the most important parts of a fitness plan if you really want to make it work. Take some time to sit down and plan your meals and foods you will eat as well as your exercise routine. Be sure to schedule it in to your daily activities and make sure you follow it.
