The wrong blush can dull even the most beautiful skin tone. While choosing blush may not seem overwhelming, the immense colors and formulas can make choosing the right one challenging. There are so many options for women, from powdered to creme, pink to purple that choosing just one is very difficult. Here are a few ways to narrow the choices and pick the perfect blush:
1. MAKE ME BLUSH
The best place to start is by knowing what color your turn when you blush for real. Since it is hard to make yourself blush, here are two quick and easy ways to figure it out: pinch your cheeks and/or look in the mirror after you workout. You will be able to see what you face look like when you really do blush so you can pick a shade that is similar and flattering. However, if you turn bright red when you exercise, just pick a color that coordinates with your lipstick.
2. TRY ONE ON
Makeup counters always give women the option to try on a color before spending money on it. When you try on a shade, you will be able to tell if it is too much or too little.
Many stores have good cosmetics’ return policies or you can work on blending your mistake with other colors and hope for the best if you are unable to get your money back on a return.

Besides knowing your blush color, you should know what skin type you have. While powder blush generally works well for most skin types, there are new formulas that work well on dry or oily skin. Creams and gels are nice products for dry skin, and powder blush stays on oily skin.
4. TONE IT UP
You should also know your skin tone – which is the undertone that you skin has. Women have either a warm or cool undertone and knowing which one you have will make it much easier to pick the blush color for your face. You want to stay as natural as possible to flatter the skin tone that you have.….READ MORE ON THE NEXT PAGE
