If you wear the best and most comfortable running shoes, you are able to run better and there is less strain on your legs, ankles and feet when you run. When buying running shoes, you should try them on first to see if they fit just right. Also look for running shoes that can be also used for walking as walking serves as warm-up for running.
2. Drink Adequate Amounts of Water
This is important in making running easier because when you are well hydrated, you do not burn out as quickly while running. Stay away from sports drinks and caffeinated beverages because they only make you thirstier. If you do not like the taste of water, you can add a few drops of lemon juice and honey or agave nectar to it.

3. Include Plyometrics
If you are entering a race that involves hours of running, it is a good idea to have plyometrics as part of the training for this event. Some good examples of plyometrics training include leg jumps and box jumps. In addition to the plyometrics, you should also do weight training exercises.

In order to become a better runner and make running easier, you should eat healthy foods on a regular basis.
