It’s important to make sure that your nails are clean before putting any coats of color on them. If the nails are free of polish, you should use polish remover to remove any oil on the surface of the nails.

You can prep your nails with a base coat first. Polish is going to stick on best when nails are prepped with an OPI nail treatment base coat.
Avoid too much polish. Put between 3 and 4 coats of polish on instead of a couple of thick coats. It is going to last longer and it will also cut down on drying and it will prevent polish bubbles.
