According to Timothy Church, MD, MPH, PhD from Pennington Biomedical Research Center of Baton Rouge, LA, the only exercise that you need to lose weight is “just any exercise.”

Losing weight occurs when you burn more calories than you take it, but sadly, too many people stop exercising because they get burned out on one type or they suffer from an injury. So, you do not need to run because it hurts your knees or you have asthma issues, you can do something that is accessible, like walking or riding a bike.
