9. Oatmeal mask

Oatmeal masks are very good for greasy hair and for the treatment of dandruff. Make a paste from four tablespoons of oatmeal, some almond milk and a teaspoon of sweet almond oil and gently apply to your hair. Leave it on for at least thirty minutes, then wash off with lukewarm water and a mild shampoo, then condition as usual. This mask will eliminate excess oil from your hair and rejuvenate the hair follicles.

10. Brushing your hair

When you brush your hair, always be gentle and avoid tugging at the hair. Brush all the way from the roots down to the tips. Regular, gentle brushing will spread your natural oils across the whole length of the hair and it will also help promote a healthy blood supply to the follicles.
